Indications for the use of a known drug are viral hepatitis, herpetic infection, influenza and SARS. It is also prescribed as a component of complex therapy for infectious-allergic and viral encephalomyelitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, urogenital and respiratory chlamydia. The drug, which is released in a tablet form, the patient is prescribed to take after eating.

The main constituent of this drug is tilorone, which is absorbed quickly enough from the gastrointestinal tract. It is excreted from the body with feces (70%) and urine (9%).

The dosage regimen of Amiksin is determined by the doctor depending on the diagnosis of the patient. Usually, for the prevention of influenza and SARS, the drug is prescribed in a dosage of 125 mg once a week with a course of 6 weeks. For treatment of influenza and ARVI in the first two days, Amiksin is prescribed 125 mg per day, then 125 mg every other day, and the total dose per course is 0. 75 g, ie 6 tablets.

Reviews of the drug

Using Amiksin for the above purposes has conflicting and different reviews. By the way, this drug is produced in the territories of Ukraine and Russia. In Russia, the drug is used for several federal programs, it has state support. Today, this medication is registered in Ukraine and in Russia, so there is no feedback on its use in other countries.

All medicines have their own side effects, contraindications. In them lies the reason for conflicting reviews. For example, in a person who is addicted to allergies, it can occur after applying Amiksin. This is a signal to ensure that before using the drug people carefully read his instructions.

It should be noted that this medicine has been studied more than once for the treatment of patients in hospital settings. Such experiments took place in the 90s of the last century. The results of the research were, that viruses can not adapt to Amiksin. This is important, given their constant mutation and very good adaptability. The drug is effective almost against all infections that have a viral etiology. So, for example, when treating hepatitis, Amiksin allows you to quickly achieve recovery and restore the liver of the patient. In addition, the drug reduces the chance of transition of the disease to a chronic form.

It is important to know that the main active substance of the drug - tilorone - is considered highly toxic by doctors. It can cause dyspepsia, chills, except allergies. In general, there is no unanimous opinion about the use of Amiksin among doctors. Therefore, patients should take the medicine after consulting their doctor.

It should be recalled that the use of Amiksin and alcohol is incompatible! At best, the therapeutic effect of the drug may decrease, at worst there may be side effects or other dangerous complications. Tylorone has an effect on the rate of hepatic acetylation, so doctors emphasize the incompatibility of Amixin with alcohol.
