The most dangerous consequence of hypoxia is a fatal outcome. Although the current level of medicine makes it possible to minimize this complication, however, it should not be excluded. Hypoxia during childbirth is a fairly common problem. Fortunately, in our days, with timely diagnosis and medical treatment, the pathological condition is successfully cured.
Is it possible to prevent hypoxia during childbirth?
Women should not forget that their behavior and lifestyle throughout the nine months of pregnancy in the first place affects the health of a little man.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to prevent the acute form of hypoxia, but there are methods that allow the prevention of chronic hypoxia.
First, future mothers are obliged to lead a healthy lifestyle and completely abandon bad habits, especially with regard to smoking, including passive. It's no secret that tobacco smoke adversely affects health, both women in the position and her baby.
Secondly, pregnant women should spend a lot of time in the fresh air. If the place of residence is an industrial zone or a contaminated area, then it is better to move to a cleaner area. Also, regardless of the weather, you should daily ventilate the room in which the woman is.
Third, the diet of expectant mothers should be balanced and useful. In the daily menu of the pregnant woman must necessarily include products containing iron. This will prevent iron deficiency anemia, the consequence of which is often fetal hypoxia.
Fourth, a woman should visit the doctor regularly throughout her pregnancy and take all the tests in a timely manner.
