To say unambiguously something against antibiotics - the language does not turn. Since the discovery of penicillin, antibiotics have saved the lives of not one dozen people. That's only if taken under strict testimony and under the supervision of a doctor, because, like any other medicine, with uncontrolled use, they simply become poison. But to say anything in favor of taking antibiotics precisely when planning pregnancy is also very difficult: these substances, being in the body of both the father and mother (which is even less desirable), yet have the property of influencing the fetus.
Regarding the permitted "conception" after therapy with antibiotics, doctors indicate the optimal period: at least 2-3 months after the end of treatment. All because antibiotics, getting into the blood, have a negative effect on the condition of the reproductive cells - both in women and men. Under the influence of antibiotics, the number of pathologically altered spermatozoa increases, which means that the risk of fertilization increases significantly with one of them. Antibiotics, accumulating in the body, do not immediately "leave" it after the drug has been discontinued - a certain amount of time is needed to completely purify the body.
It should also be known that antibiotics still circulating in the mother's body are able to penetrate the placenta and affect the fetus. Particularly prone to the influence of any unfavorable external factors of the baby in the first trimester of pregnancy, when there is a capital laying of his future organism. Not surprisingly, under the influence of antibiotics, if the treatment took place just before the conception, the maternal organism simply "rejects" the fetus, provoking a miscarriage. A similar situation can occur if the conception was performed with the participation of the pathologically changed spermatozoon under the influence of antibiotics at the stage of pregnancy planning.
In this regard, for the greatest confidence in the absence of any threats associated with a combination of antibiotics and pregnancy planning, experts recommend at least one cycle to conceive of conception, which is suitable for the now existing in huge quantities of contraceptive methods. In general, planning a pregnancy, it is advised to visit the doctor in advance - about six months before the beginning of "work on procreation." This time is quite enough to go through all the necessary research, shown in the planning of pregnancy, as well as, if necessary, treat the diseases that are available.
After the termination of therapy and during the protection from as yet undesirable conception, the body can "cope" with the consequences of antibiotic therapy using restorative measures to improve the intestinal microflora. To this end, decoctions of suitable medicinal herbs (milk thistle, chicken, immortelle, plantain) are used. Bio-yogurt, preferably with low sugar content, preparations with bifidobacteria are also good in this regard. To increase confidence, pregnancy planning needs to be done under control and following the advice of a doctor. Knowing the nature of the disease, which was treated with antibiotics, taking into account the peculiarities of the organism of future parents, the rate of recovery after therapy, the specialist will be able to explain all the subtleties of preparation for conception to the future mother and father, and control the restoration process.
