How correctly to measure the temperature after delivery?

The arrival to the breasts of the first milk is almost always accompanied by a slight increase in body temperature, therefore, measuring it in the usual way (in the armpit), you will almost certainly notice inflated indices. Physiological increase in temperature

In fact, the temperature after childbirth is increased in almost all young mothers. First, the body is in some stress from the experience. As the little one will empty the mother's breast, her condition will be relieved, and the body temperature will decrease somewhat. But if your sucker is not very active, then you will have to take extra care of your chest. To prevent the formation of stagnant milk (in medicine this is called lactostasis), the breast must be massaged and expressed. It should be soft and empty on time. With lactostasis, the body temperature of a woman can rise to 39 А C. C, but after feeding or pumping, there is obvious relief.
