The most accurate pregnancy test

What is the most accurate pregnancy test?

Determine what kind of test today can be called the most accurate and effective, it is quite difficult - each of them guarantees 100%. Therefore, the most accurate "test" for pregnancy is, perhaps, a test that determines the level of hCG in the blood, examination by a doctor and ultrasound, confirming or refuting the probability of fertilization. Regarding the analysis of chorionic gonadotropin: during pregnancy, the level of hCG in the body is significantly increased. There is also an increase in the level of hCG in the urine - it is the chorionic gonadotropin that responds to home pregnancy tests. However, the concentration of hCG in urine increases only after a certain time after the onset of pregnancy, and therefore, in the early stages of any test this pregnancy can not be determined. But the level of hCG in the blood increases immediately after fertilization, because the blood test for chorionic gonadotropin is able to indicate pregnancy even in the first days after the onset of pregnancy.

As for home pregnancy tests, today there are a lot of such tests. To choose for sure there is something from - here you and tablet, and inkjet tests and even a test that determines the presence or absence of pregnancy for possible changes in the tissues of the uterus. The degree of accuracy of tests largely depends on compliance with the rules for their conduct, in the first place, it concerns the traditional strip test.

The test strip is considered to be the simplest pregnancy test, but at the same time it is the one that the "mistaken" result can "give out" with a high degree of probability. The name of its test was probably due to its appearance - the test looks like an ordinary strip, which is invisible to the naked eye reagent in the form of two strips. For the test, the strip should be lowered into the selected portion of urine (morning) to the specified mark and keep a certain time (from 3 to 5 minutes - the exact time is indicated in the instruction). The reagent reacts to the absence or presence of hCG in the urine, respectively, the color is changed either one or at once two strips of the reagent. The test strip with a high degree of probability may react inaccurately: if the strip in the urine is underexploited or overexposed, if the urine for the test was selected, for example, in the afternoon.

Experts say that the test is more accurate than the test strip, although it looks like this. Here, only in this case, the strip descends into the container with urine only with the tip - urine independently rises upwards along the strip and reacts with the reagent.

The inkjet test is even more accurate and efficient. In addition, that the inkjet test is reliable, it is also very convenient: it can be carried out at any time of the day, and not just in the morning. The only thing for a more accurate result is advised to abstain before conducting a test against urination for at least 4 hours.

In the beginning, we mentioned the existence of a pregnancy test, which responds to changes in the cervical tissue in the event of pregnancy. We are talking about the so-called blue test, the error in the conduct of which is practically eliminated. The blue test is a long stick that needs to be inserted into the vagina for a distance, so that she touches the cervix. If the pregnancy takes place, the wand will turn blue in a few minutes, reacting to changes in the cervical tissue. The blue test is probably the most accurate test of all home-like changes in the cervical tissues in other cases, except for pregnancy, just does not happen.
