To give birth painfully or not

Is it painful to give birth for the first time?

All of us women are unique, as is the unique pregnancy of each of us. Some mothers tend to remember themselves pregnant with tenderness and dream of once again experiencing this feeling. Others, on the contrary, do not even want to remember about eternal nausea, dizziness, bad health and bad mood & hellip;

And then, as a logical conclusion of pregnancy, childbirth follows. And here on many future mothers "an inexplicable feeling of fear of possible pain during labor" attacks ", which is often warmed up by horrifying stories of others about unbearable birth pains. And especially hypochondriac pregnant women do not need a lot to adjust themselves to pain in a matter of seconds. But, maybe, these are just stories? Or are you - the lucky one, who will not have time to get out, how will such a small little bundle be put on her breast? Let's try together to find the answer to the age-old question: to give birth painfully or not?

Great fear force

All of us are afraid of the unknown. We are afraid of what we do not know. And the more we fear, the stronger becomes our fear, which works against ourselves, for very often at the most crucial moments it directly binds us from within, and in fact during childbirth a woman should try to open up as much as possible. That's why, succumbing to fear, you subconsciously complicate the birth of yourselves. And if you believe the results of many studies, it is fear that is the main cause of severe pain during childbirth.

How is this explained? It's very simple: fear triggers the release of a large amount of the adrenaline hormone, which interferes with the production of the hormone oxytocin, which is responsible for contractions of the uterus, and for the whole process of childbirth as a whole.

The important role of the birth pain

However strange the statement may sound, the birth pain plays a very important physiological role, since the answer to it is the production of the hormone oxytocin responsible for:

  • activation of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems;
  • improvement of oxygen supply of tissues;
  • all generic activities in general.

That is, he is responsible for the maximum work of all body forces. The presence of birth pain is an indicator that everything is fine.

Help yourself

Whoever was with you during the birth, no matter how hard you try to help, but the truth remains the truth: "Salvaging a drowning man is the work of the drowning man himself." And it's true - everything is in our hands.

Those women who are long before the birth take the initiative into their own hands:

  • are registered for special courses for pregnant women;
  • visit the pool;
  • are engaged in gymnastics;
  • every day find time to set themselves up for good thoughts;
  • go for walks (practice has repeatedly proved that those women in labor who are not too lazy to walk on foot, experience a minimum of pain during childbirth);
  • Learn breathing methods of anesthesia.

Already during childbirth, you need to learn to relax, "allow" yourself to rest between fights, to relax. Many women give birth to singing as an anesthetic by voice. It is also useful to listen to quiet music. If you have someone close to you, ask him to give you an analgesic massage. Already during the birth itself, do not forget to listen to your body, which will definitely give you clues.

And most importantly: understand, that childbirth is just a path (albeit painful) that will lead you to happiness - to be a mother. And do not forget about the amazing ability of our body to erase from memory all the unpleasant. You yourself will soon forget about the battles, and about the birth itself, because you can not remember that when you are looked at by the most native eyes in the world.
