Conception

When and how does a child conceive?

Prepare for conceiving

Capital truths, that first you need to prepare mentally and physically, you can not ignore in any case. Therefore, first, the future parents need to check the health status, eliminate, if there is, a "malfunction" in the work of the body. Particularly useful will be a trip to genetics, to exclude a variety of diseases that can be passed on to the kid by inheritance.

Some couples also go to a consultation with a psychologist.

Last but not least, you need to do your physical health: do sports, quit smoking and drink (even drink a little!), have a lot of walking, resting and getting positive emotions.

A woman needs to watch her ovulation, because it is during these days that conception is most possible. There are many ways to determine its presence, but, unfortunately, none of them gives 100% accuracy. One of the simplest (in terms of improvisation, since you do not need to run to a pharmacy or a doctor) is keeping a calendar and watching for cervical mucus. As a rule, the increase in mucus during the ovulation period is most noticeable.

How does conception occur?

Have you heard such a word as fertility? This term refers to the ability to reproduce offspring. In other words, the ability to conceive. In order for this to become a reality, the follicle must ripen in the ovary, after the rupture of the ovum, which is to be fertilized by the most vigorous daddy of the spermatozoon. Spermatozoa make a huge way, penetrating first into the uterus, and then into the fallopian tubes. When the male and female sex cells merge, a zygote is formed. But the zygote, a fertilized egg, falls into the uterine cavity only on the 7-8th day, and until then is in "free swimming". Already in the uterus the embryo "hatch" from the membrane and is introduced into the wall of the uterus in order to gain a foothold and begin to develop. During this period, its size is no more than 1.5 mm.

The medical literature describes, that the conception process includes:

  • fertilization (that is, the fusion of the male sperm and female egg);
  • development of the embryo until the moment of implantation (crushing cells from one to two, and then in a geometric progression);
  • directly embryo implantation process (i.e., implantation and attachment to the uterine mucosa).

On average, the process of conception takes two weeks. It is through such a period of time that a woman begins to feel the first signs of pregnancy. But many (due to the fact that the signs are still minor) just do not attach importance to them, but realize that they are pregnant, after 4-6 weeks, when the symptoms become very obvious.

When is conception?

Scientists have determined that spermatozoa move in the body of a woman at a speed of 3 millimeters per minute. And the path that they have to overcome to their goal is an average of 15 centimeters. If a woman has already had an ovulation, and the egg only waits for a successful moment, then the sexual act will most likely end in conception. And it will take no more than an hour.

But two or three days is an acceptable time for a miracle, since small spermatozoa are very tenacious. They keep their viability for a long time and can wait until the egg is ready to take one of them. There is also information that conception, however strange it may sound, maybe even a week after unprotected intercourse. This, of course, rare cases, but in life there are all kinds.

Sage for conception

If you are accustomed to resort to the so-called grandmother's recipes, you can use the following. In order for conception to occur as soon as possible, it is advised to drink infusion of sage. In its composition are substances similar to estrogens - female sex hormones. And after all, they take an active part in the conception of the child and in the formation of the egg. Moreover, the substances contained in the sage contribute to an increase in the reflex of the cervix, which also contributes to conception.

Yoga for conception

Some couples who have problems with conception resort to different methods that can increase the chances of a miracle. One such is yoga. It is good because it has no contraindications and benefits not only the physical, but also the mental health of future mothers and fathers. During exercise, muscle tone increases, the body becomes more plastic, breathing improves and, consequently, blood circulation. All these are important conditions for the onset of pregnancy. Moreover, the endurance of the organism is trained, and the nervous system becomes more resistant to stress, the mood improves, a positive mood for a successful outcome appears. What can I say, that sex is becoming more qualitative and interesting, and the chances for a quick conception increase at times.

How much sex do you need to conceive?

Believe me, do not have sex every day, wanting to conceive a baby. Medics argue that in this case, both partners are very much tired of such a "marathon". In most cases, this method, if the couple is satisfied, will work. But, believe me, enough and one sexual intercourse every two to three days. But it's better not to work on wear. Especially, if the amount of sperm in a man is not in sufficient volume.

If you follow ovulation, you can "distribute" sexual acts in such a way that a large number of them coincide with the days when it should occur.

There is another method when a couple does not have sex for a long period (every two to three weeks), but produces an act at the time of the supposed ovulation. Then the chances of getting pregnant significantly increase.
